From signal to trade, step by step.
How the AcuBooth covered call overlay actually runs, from the engine's decision process to what happens when you enroll a client. For the individual trade level logic with real thresholds and formulas, see Trade Scenarios.
Three steps, running continuously
Continuous monitoring
The engine scans the options market throughout every trading session, not on a weekly or monthly schedule. Intraday premium windows a manual process would miss are captured in real time.
Deterministic execution
Pre defined rules govern screening, strike selection, roll timing, and order management. The same logic applies regardless of market volatility or day of week, no AI or machine learning involved.
Full auditability
Every trade is logged and traceable to the specific rule that fired it, giving the advisor of record and any compliance reviewer a complete record on demand.
You remain the advisor of record
AcuBooth operates on a separate sleeve, reporting into your existing custodian infrastructure. You keep the relationship and full discretion over the core portfolio.
| Party | Responsibility |
|---|---|
| Advisor | Determines client suitability, selects eligible positions and sleeve parameters, approves the strategy mandate, and maintains fiduciary or suitability obligations to the client. |
| Client | Signs the overlay agreement and custodian authorization, obtains options Tier 1 authorization, and understands risks including assignment, capped upside, and tax consequences. |
| AcuBooth | Applies pre defined rules to screen, select, and execute covered call orders within advisor approved sleeve parameters. Reports activity to the advisor and custodian. Does not provide individualized investment advice. |
| Custodian | Holds client assets, executes and confirms orders, and provides account statements and 1099 reporting. Custodian fees are separate from AcuBooth fees. |

A deliberate rollout, not a flip of a switch
RIAs run AcuBooth on their own account first, before any client is enrolled.
Takes under ten minutes. The overlay goes live on your account first, not a client's.
You decide whether the results support recommending this to specific clients.
Onboarding for each client account takes the same signup flow you completed on day one.
See For Advisors for the complete onboarding timeline and position level controls.
